Designing the Future with AI
I recently got an opportunity to speak at the India’s largest UX conference UXIndia.
I touched upon a topic which has been my current focus for the past one year. As a Design leader in a leading tech company where AI is at the forefront of shaping the future, I am continually drawn to the evolving intersection of artificial intelligence and user experience. AI often seems like an engineering-dominated domain — fueled by algorithms and data. On the other hand, design is deeply human, emotional, and intuitive. The challenge I face is: “How do we ensure design stays relevant and impactful in this rapidly advancing AI-driven world?”
How to remain relevant as a designer?
Through my talk titled “Design Thinking to AI Thinking,” I delved into some key principles that are essential for thriving in an AI-driven world. One of the most important is the commitment to continuous learning — an essential mindset in a landscape that is constantly evolving. Beyond that, it’s critical to observe the world deeply, connecting the seemingly disparate dots across disciplines to create more innovative solutions.
